DNVn - After 4 months of launching and receiving nearly 300 entries, the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Awards (VCA 2024) has selected 12 authors and outstanding works to honor at the award ceremony taking place on September 27.
The Vietnam Digital Content Creation Award (VCA) is held annually starting from 2023. The award aims to honor organizations/individuals with outstanding digital content products that spread good cultural values to the community, contributing to promoting the development of the digital content creation industry in Vietnam. The award is chaired by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and managed by the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Alliance (DCCA).
After 4 months of official launch, VCA 2024 has received nearly 300 entries from businesses, organizations and individuals participating in the field of digital content creation, with diverse professions and ages from regions across the country.
The Jury and Organizing Committee at the final meeting of the VCA Awards 2024 on September 12, 2024.
The judging process went through 3 rounds: Preliminary, Preliminary and Final. The Preliminary round selected 100 authors and works to be judged in the Preliminary round. The Preliminary Council selected 40 authors and works to be nominated for the Final round. Next, the Final Council and the Organizing Committee selected 12 authors and works with the highest quality, meeting the Rules and criteria of the award to be officially honored in 8 categories.
In the 8 categories of the award, the category “Outstanding Animated Film” has 4 awards for the works: Outstanding Animated Film, Outstanding Animated Film Script and Outstanding Animated Character Set (Animation IP). In addition, the category “Inspiring Digital Content Creator” will award 2 awards. This is also the Award selected by the Organizing Committee based on the results of the online voting of the community combined with the review and evaluation of the Award Organizing Committee.
For the 6 categories of "Outstanding Short Film", "Outstanding Promotional Video", "Outstanding Educational Content Product", "Outstanding Digital Content Creator", "Digital Content Creator for the Community" and "Promising Digital Content Creator", each category has 1 award.
In addition, the Organizing Committee will also award certificates to 29 authors and works nominated and selected for the Final Round of VCA 2024.
According to the Board of Judges, this year's competition received many quality works. These works not only met the content requirements but also met the award criteria set by the organizing committee. The works were highly appreciated for their creativity, applicability, effectiveness and ability to convey messages. These results not only reflect the careful investment and dedication of the contestants but also affirm the quality and prestige of the award.
The award ceremony is expected to take place on September 27, 2024 in Hanoi . Within the framework of the ceremony, there will also be an exhibition and discussion with the theme "Trends in commercialization of intellectual property assets" with the participation of leading entrepreneurs in the field of exploitation of intellectual property assets.
In 2023, the VCA Awards, held for the first time, honored 15 outstanding authors/works, creating a buzz in the digital content creation community.
