(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of December 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city's monitoring delegation, led by Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Do Trang Thanh, monitored the extra teaching, extra learning, educational linkage and revenue and expenditure at Nguyen Du Primary School and Lac Vien Secondary School, Ngo Quyen District.

Reporting at the monitoring session, Principal of Nguyen Du Primary School, Vu Thi Phuong, said: The school has fully and promptly deployed and disseminated to the Party Committee, Party Cell, Teachers' Council, and the Standing Committee of the Parents' Association; at the same time, it has issued a plan for revenue and expenditure implementation, a plan for managing students outside of regular school hours and educational linkages from the beginning of the school year.

The implementation of the city's regulations on extra teaching, extra learning, educational linkages and school revenues and expenditures is carried out in accordance with regulations. The supervision is carried out by the People's Committee - People's Council of May Chai ward through school meetings and thematic supervision. In addition, the Department of Education and Training and the District Finance Department also carry out regular inspections.

Supervising at Lac Vien Secondary School, Principal of Lac Vien Secondary School, Do Mai Huong said: The Board of Directors of Lac Vien Secondary School proactively receives, updates, and fully and scientifically stores the city's directives, regulations, and instructions on extra teaching, extra learning, educational linkage, and school revenue and expenditure in the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years as a basis for developing a revenue and expenditure plan; fully deploying leadership directives, regulations, and instructions from all levels related to extra teaching, extra learning, educational linkage, and school revenue and expenditure.

Speaking at the monitoring sessions, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Do Trang Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the work of preparing content as well as arranging full members to work with the monitoring team of the schools. The schools have strictly implemented legal documents and directives from superiors on extra teaching and learning. In the training cooperation, the schools have followed the correct procedures and regulations; the collection and expenditure work is carried out publicly and transparently according to the instructions of the competent authorities and through the Parents' Association. The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city requested the schools to continue reviewing documents related to extra teaching and learning; especially extra teaching outside the school, focusing on promoting democracy at the grassroots level to create consensus among parents, and at the same time sharing with the school about difficulties and problems. Regarding the recommendations of the school stated in the monitoring session, the Monitoring Team acknowledged, synthesized and reported to the competent authorities for consideration./.
