The 1st Binh Thuan Newspaper Cup Women's Volleyball Exchange

BTO-On March 2, Binh Thuan Newspaper's grassroots union organized the first women's volleyball exchange of Binh Thuan Newspaper Cup 2024.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Le Huy Toan - Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Binh Thuan Newspaper; Ngo Dang Khoa - Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station; Nguyen Huu Cau - Director of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Binh Thuan branch; Ms. Vu Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Head of Phan Thiet City Police, along with leaders of units, Executive Committee of the Trade Union and athletes and members of 6 participating units.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Huy Toan - Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Binh Thuan Newspaper said: The first Binh Thuan Newspaper Cup women's volleyball exchange activity has practical significance in commemorating the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024) and creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among union members in general.

This is also a playground for female cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to exchange, share and learn from each other's experiences in organizing activities; contributing to the development and promotion of the movement of physical exercise, sports and health training following the example of great Uncle Ho to build a cultural life at the grassroots level.

The tournament was held in 1 day, with the participation of 6 teams: Binh Thuan Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Phan Thiet City Police, Bac Phan Thiet Primary School, Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Binh Thuan Branch, Connection Club (Phan Thiet City). The teams were divided into 2 groups to compete and the first team of each group entered the final, the second team of each group competed for third place.

As a result, the women's volleyball team of the Provincial Radio and Television Station won the first prize, the second prize went to the Connection Club, the third prize went to the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Binh Thuan branch, the encouragement prize went to the Binh Thuan Newspaper team, and the two teams of Phan Thiet City Police and Bac Phan Thiet Primary School won the style prize.
