Maintaining sovereignty and border security in the operation of two-level government

DNO - The working group of the Da Nang City Border Guard has just inspected the affiliated units after the merger of the two-level government.

The working delegation led by Colonel Tran Tien Hien - Commander of the Da Nang City Border Guard - inspected and grasped the situation at border posts, port border guard units and Border Guard Squadron 2, to evaluate the effectiveness of the work after merging administrative units according to the 2-level local government model.

After listening to the report, Colonel Hien praised the outstanding results in protecting sovereignty and security of sea areas and ports in recent times. He requested the units to continue to closely coordinate with localities and sectors to orient economic development in parallel with national defense, building a solid maritime border area.

Movements towards the border and islands, activities to support people to reduce poverty, develop the economy and ensure social security are also focused. In particular, many coordination models between the Border Guard and forces such as the Police and Customs in crime prevention and security and order protection in sea and port areas are showing clear effectiveness, contributing to maintaining peaceful life and developing local socio-economics.

Commander Tran Tien Hien requested the units to continue promoting their achievements, closely coordinate in rescue work at sea, maintain readiness of forces and means, determined to excellently complete the task of protecting sovereignty and border security, and continue to contribute to the overall development of the city.
