Mr. Björn Koslowski, Deputy Head of the German Industry and Commerce Delegation in Vietnam, emphasized the great potential of Vietnam in the manufacturing industry. Since 1996, Vietnam has risen to become one of the leading countries in this manufacturing industry with reform activities, becoming one of the attractive destinations for FDI investment sources, up to about 2 - 3 billion USD/year. However, the workshop also pointed out the need for improvement when the export turnover is mainly FDI enterprises, while the export proportion of domestic Vietnamese enterprises is still low. This is what GBA and its partners want to support Vietnam to change. GBA has a series of projects related to connecting enterprises with companies to provide input materials.

The Vietnamese Government has set a goal of becoming a developed, high-income country by 2045 and is making efforts to achieve that goal. The Deputy Head of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam also affirmed that GBA wishes to contribute to that development, helping Vietnamese enterprises become leading enterprises of international standards globally.

Therefore, the “World Class” vision from Germany is not only about advanced technology and management experience, but also about the strong commitment of support from the German business community in Vietnam.

This event has opened up an effective networking space where Vietnamese businesses can learn, seek partners and shape the path to improve competitiveness, reach the world , and make the goal of becoming a developed country by 2045 a reality.
