According to the province's report, the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth rate in 2024 is estimated to increase by 7.1% (negative 8.37% in 2023). Industrial production will recover impressively, increasing by 13.5%.
Mr. Le Van Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, said that in 2024, the budget revenue was thought to not reach the set plan due to many difficulties, but in the end, it collected more than 27,500 billion VND, reaching nearly 117%.
Mr. Dung acknowledged that in addition to the achievements, there are still many difficulties. Currently, the economy still has many bottlenecks and bottlenecks in implementation, and the disbursement of public investment capital is slow.
Social order situation, especially gambling, illegal credit and drug problems, are very complicated.
“In particular, recently, every karaoke bar inspected found drugs. The province has a policy to assign the director of the provincial police and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize inspections. If any karaoke bar is found to have drugs, the license will be revoked immediately. There is a more determined spirit to prevent drug problems,” said Mr. Dung.

Mr. Dung said that in 2025, the province will implement many major solutions such as removing difficulties for businesses.
Focus on reviewing projects and construction works that have been unfinished for many years and have been wasteful, then resolutely direct to fix them. Real estate projects that have been unfinished for many years and investors have not had the capacity to implement, then resolutely revoke them.
Focus on clearing land and attracting investment. Remove difficulties to allow large investors to enter and create a good investment environment.
