This time, 47 products nationwide were recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment as achieving 5-star OCOP. Of which, Hanoi has 3 products: Phuc tea, Loc tea, and Tho tea of Thang Long High-Tech Agriculture Joint Stock Company (Dai Yen commune, Chuong My district).
5-star OCOP products are awarded national OCOP product certificates by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; and are allowed to use the national OCOP logo on packaging, labels and product introduction and promotion materials according to regulations. The classification results are valid for 36 months from the date of recognition.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment assigns the Central Office for New Rural Area Coordination to be responsible for notifying the results of assessment and classification to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities and OCOP entities; proposing solutions to support national OCOP products to continue perfecting products, introducing and promoting trade in domestic and foreign markets; guiding OCOP entities to use and print the OCOP logo on product packaging according to regulations; presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies to organize periodic inspections of products.
The People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities organize rewards according to regulations; continue to pay attention to and support OCOP entities to improve quality; prioritize support for promotional activities, introduction and trade promotion, and use of national OCOP products as gifts in diplomatic activities and local events.
National OCOP product producers are responsible for organizing, managing, and controlling product quality in accordance with the set of criteria for evaluating and classifying OCOP products; and continuing to improve product quality and image in the market.
