- Accordingly, the City People's Committee assigned the Social Insurance (SI) Region I to notify the estimated health insurance expenditure in 2025 for medical facilities according to the health insurance expenditure estimate assigned by the Vietnam Social Insurance to the SI Region I.
Social Insurance Region I presides over and coordinates with the Department of Health , medical facilities and relevant agencies to implement solutions to effectively manage and use the health insurance fund and estimate the cost of health insurance treatment assigned in 2025...
Along with that, Social Insurance Region I strengthens communication work on health insurance, has solutions to mobilize people to participate in health insurance suitable for each target group, and completes the assigned health insurance coverage target.
The Hanoi Department of Health will preside over and coordinate with the Social Insurance of Region I and relevant agencies to inspect the use of the Health Insurance Fund, prevent abuse and profiteering from the Health Insurance Fund; must develop plans and solutions to manage and control health insurance expenditures, ensuring savings and efficiency.
These facilities must ensure compliance with regulations on medical examination and treatment, and provide adequate medicines, medical supplies, and technical services to health insurance participants. At the same time, health insurance facilities must proactively review and adjust rising health insurance treatment costs, especially unreasonable costs as warned by the Social Insurance Agency.
Previously, the City People's Committee also issued 2 Decisions: No. 1579/QD-UBND on regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Medical Center (Ha Dong District People's Committee); Decision No. 1580/QD-UBND on regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Medical Center (under Quoc Oai District People's Committee).
