Regarding solutions to implement Directive No. 20/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on a number of urgent and drastic tasks to prevent and resolve environmental pollution, including not allowing gasoline-powered motorbikes to circulate in the Ring Road 1 area of ​​Hanoi , Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, said that the Hanoi People's Committee will soon submit to the Hanoi People's Council resolutions to support people in switching to green vehicles.

At the same time, the Hanoi People's Committee proposed that the Ministry of Construction soon issue a Circular regulating signs to identify motor vehicles using clean energy, green energy, and environmentally friendly energy according to Clause 6, Article 34 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024; coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to issue and apply regulations on standards and emission norms for imported, manufactured, assembled and circulating road motor vehicles; promote green transport conversion activities, use electricity, zero emissions; use clean, environmentally friendly fuels; encourage the use of public transport.
