Hanoi organizes 6 fireworks displays to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2

According to the plan, Hanoi city has a total of 5 firing points including 6 high-altitude fireworks display sites combined with low-altitude and pyrotechnics.

On August 22, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Hong Son signed and issued Plan No. 236/KH-UBND of the City People's Committee on organizing fireworks displays to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) in Hanoi .

Accordingly, the city has a total of 5 firing points including 6 high-altitude fireworks firing sites combined with low-altitude and pyrotechnics. Specifically, high-altitude fireworks firing sites combined with low-altitude and pyrotechnics (2 sites). Site No. 1 in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Headquarters, Hoan Kiem Ward. Site No. 2 in front of the Hanoi Post Office , Hoan Kiem Ward.

High-altitude and low-altitude fireworks (4 locations). Specifically, location number 3 at Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung Ward. Location number 4 in front of the Water Sports Palace, National Sports Complex, Tu Liem Ward. Location number 5 at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, Tay Ho Ward. Location number 6 at Van Quan Lake, Ha Dong Ward.

High-altitude fireworks have a total of 3,600 fireworks (600 fireworks per site); low-altitude fireworks have a total of 540 sets (90 sets per site); firing time is 15 minutes; firing time is from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2.

The city requested the Hanoi Capital Command to preside over and coordinate with the city police to closely direct patrol and guard work, maintain security and order, social safety, prevent fires and explosions, and ensure absolute safety before, during and after fireworks display at the display sites.

Hanoi City Police develop plans and strategies to ensure social order and safety, traffic safety; especially guide and direct traffic around the fireworks display area; facilitate vehicles carrying fireworks and technical equipment to the site; ensure forces and equipment to perform fire prevention and fighting tasks...

The city requested the People's Committees of Hoan Kiem, Tu Liem, Tay Ho and Hai Ba Trung wards to do a good job of propaganda and agitation, organize cultural and artistic performances to serve the people at the fireworks display sites; and ensure timely handling plans when situations arise.
