The campaign to enrich and clean up the national land database has 4 contents that need to be implemented, including: Completing the existing land database, classifying data into 3 groups: Good use, need to edit, authenticate, unusable. At the same time, building residential land and housing data for places where the database has not been built (collecting documents, digitizing and entering data into the system).
Connecting Hanoi land database with national database and functional agencies. Managing and operating land database, online public services, restructuring administrative procedures to reduce paper records. Adding land plot identification codes, integrating with national digital addresses.

The campaign will be carried out within 90 days, in which from September 16, the authorities will review all existing data, classify data, and organize system connection; from September 25, the list of land users will be checked with the national database; from October 30, the verification and updating of information will be completed; from November 15, data will be created for land plots not yet in the system; from November 30, the campaign will end and data will be synchronized to the central system.
The goal is to complete the entire land database at 126 commune-level units in Hanoi, ensuring the criteria: "Correct - sufficient - clean - livable - unified - shared".
In the context of digital transformation, applications such as eTax Mobile and eTax App have become an inevitable step to modernize management. In recent days, Hanoi City Tax officials have actively implemented the campaign.
Tax officials must review and check land data, and directly guide people to declare and pay taxes online. The files that need to be processed are huge, ranging from land use tax, registration fees to other revenues related to land transfer and lease.
Each set of documents must be cross-checked with cadastral data, land registration offices, notary offices, etc.

Many tax officials work overtime until late at night, going to each residential area to help people install the application and resolve problems.
A major challenge is the gap in access to technology. Young people are familiar with smartphones, but many older people are still confused when it comes to installing applications.
Therefore, tax officers not only perform their duties but also become patient "bridges", guiding each small step to ensure that people can fulfill their tax obligations.
