Effectiveness of the model "Skilled Mass Mobilization"

These days, on the main road of Thanh Ha area, Vo Mieu commune, Thanh Son connecting the inter-zone with a length of over 2.3km, people are urgently cutting down trees, donating more land on both sides of the road to hand over the land to the locality to upgrade and widen the roadway and sidewalks.

Thanks to good mass mobilization work, the road section on the main axis of Thanh Ha area going between areas has been cleared for upgrading and expansion.

As a resident of Thanh Ha area who actively donated land to upgrade and expand the road, Mr. Vu Van Chao said: This road was previously small and degraded, making it difficult to travel, and traffic volume is also increasing. Since the State's policy to upgrade and expand the road to 3.5m, my family has voluntarily donated nearly 500m2 of hill and forest land to contribute to upgrading and expanding the road, creating favorable conditions for people to travel...

With the spirit of synchronous participation in propaganda and mobilization work of the political system in the movement of donating land to expand roads in some residential areas, it has received consensus and positive response from the people. Realizing the benefits of expanding traffic infrastructure, households living along the road have simultaneously cut down crops, narrowed the area of ​​residential land, garden land, agricultural and forestry land of their families to donate land.

In 2024, the People's Mobilization Bloc of Vo Mieu commune propagated and mobilized people to join hands in upgrading and expanding 16 roads with a length of over 5km of rural roads, with a total value of over 4 billion VND; donated over 30,000 square meters of agricultural land to build 18 intra-field roads and canals. People in the commune participated in building and renovating roads, planting and regularly taking care of flowers, cleaning the environment, and dredging sewers to create a clean and beautiful landscape in residential areas with 2,500 working days. In addition, Vo Mieu commune also mobilized to build 9 new cultural houses, repair 7 cultural houses; renovate, upgrade, and purchase equipment for cultural houses in 20 residential areas; install a lighting system with 1,400 light bulbs, 46 security cameras with a total value of over 7.7 billion VND, of which 6 billion VND was socialized...

Along with the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", the Movement "Repaying gratitude" has been widely deployed among the people, with the active participation of many cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, bringing about practical results. In addition, the locality also strengthened the propaganda and legal education among the people; mobilized the masses to participate in the fight against crimes and social evils, thereby maintaining security and order in the commune.

Comrade Ha Van Thao - Secretary of the Party Committee of Vo Mieu commune said: Based on the actual situation in the locality and the State's policies and guidelines in all fields, the commune has selected, registered and implemented a suitable model of skillful mass mobilization. Residential areas have launched a movement to compete in building a new model rural area, contributing to the construction of an advanced new rural commune, mobilizing people to participate in donating land for road construction, contributing working days and money to upgrade, repair and renovate the campus of the cultural house, alley roads, canals and ditches in the fields to serve production and develop the family economy... In addition, the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" models in all fields continue to be maintained and operate effectively. Up to now, the rate of cultural families has reached 94.5%, 20/20 areas have achieved the title of cultural residential area, the rate of poor households has decreased to 2.84%.
