Ke Go Lake is an important national reservoir. This large irrigation project was built in 1976 on the Rao Cai River basin (in Cam Xuyen District, Ha Tinh ) and was completed and put into operation in 1983.

The lake has a capacity of nearly 400 million ^m3 , a basin area of ​​up to 223 ^km2 , and an elevation of nearly 40 m. In addition to serving irrigation, this hydraulic project also has the function of slowing down floods in the downstream area.

However, the irrigation for the summer-autumn rice crop in the downstream area has basically been completed, so there will be no shortage of water for irrigation in the fields.
