Coach Shin Tae-yong receives full compensation, wishes Indonesia to participate in World Cup

On the afternoon of January 26, Coach Shin Tae-yong officially said goodbye to Indonesia. The coach and his Korean assistant team returned home after the contract liquidation process. Mr. Shin can receive up to 3.6 million USD in compensation from the Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) for the remaining 2.5 years of his contract.

The former Korean football star was suddenly fired after the AFF Cup 2024. The Indonesian team played poorly and was eliminated from the group stage of the Southeast Asian Championship.
