Overview of the Seminar.
At the Seminar, delegates focused on discussing 6 key areas: Artificial intelligence, digital copy and virtual reality/augmented reality; cloud computing, quantum technology and big data; blockchain technology; next-generation mobile networks (5G/6G); semiconductor chip technology; and cyber security. The discussion revolved around international experience, practices in Vietnam, as well as criteria for selecting strategic technology products, ordering and piloting mechanisms (sandbox), roadmap from testing to replication, resource mobilization plans and "three-way" linkage.

The discussion focused on international experience and practices in Vietnam; proposed criteria for selecting strategic technology products, ordering and piloting mechanisms (sandbox), roadmap from testing to replication; resource mobilization plans and "three-way" linkages; and proposed product criteria and a system of indicators to evaluate results.
Expected results of the Seminar include: Draft Framework Program for implementing Decision 1131/QD-TTg; list of priority tasks for the period 2025-2030 (vision 2050); proposed coordination mechanism, pilot financial mechanism to accelerate commercialization of strategic technology products. NAFOSTED will synthesize the opinions of expert groups to complete the dossier, submit to the Ministry's leaders for consideration according to their authority.
The seminar has become a forum for open exchange between management agencies, experts and businesses, contributing to shaping the Framework Program for implementing Decision 1131/QD-TTg. This is also an important preparatory step to mobilize collective intelligence, perfect policies and promote the application of strategic technologies, creating momentum for the development of science , technology, innovation and digital transformation in the coming period.
