Complete the project to reorganize public service units under the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City before July 21

On July 8, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City issued an urgent document conveying the direction of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Duoc on implementing phase 2 of rearranging agencies and units according to the overall project of rearranging specialized agencies, administrative agencies, and public service units of provinces and cities.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the heads of specialized agencies under the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to urgently coordinate with relevant agencies and units to develop a project to reorganize agencies and public service units under their management in accordance with the city's reality.

For other administrative agencies under the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, continue to perform their functions and tasks according to the provisions of law until the competent authority decides on the arrangement. The Management Boards of export processing zones - industrial zones; high-tech agriculture ... develop regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of their agencies in accordance with regulations and practices, and submit them to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for consideration and decision.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City assigned the heads of public service units under the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to proactively review and implement the arrangement according to the approved master plan. In particular, the Director of the Department of Culture and Information will coordinate with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee, the Department of Home Affairs and related agencies and units to develop a project to arrange Ho Chi Minh City Television Station, Ho Chi Minh City People's Voice Station, Binh Duong Radio and Television Station, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Radio and Television Station; to arrange and streamline newspapers and magazines managed by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

To ensure progress, heads of agencies and units urgently develop projects and send them to the Department of Home Affairs before July 21 for synthesis and consultation with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to submit to competent authorities for consideration and decision.
