'Indie Prince' Vu. temporarily stopped writing music after the project Museum of Regrets

Vu. just released the MV for the title song "If There Are Regrets" on the evening of September 26 and released the entire album "Museum of Regrets" at 0:00 on September 27.

Previously, he released three pre-release singles not long ago, including Forgotten Promises (collaborating with the band Dear Jane), Spending All Springtime Waiting for Each Other (with Ha Anh Tuan) and most recently, Peace in Collaboration with Binz.

The project will conclude with a concert tour in Ho Chi Minh City on October 12 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) and in Hanoi on October 26 at Yen So Park.

Taking a break from the Museum of Regrets

Vu shared that after Ten Thousand Years , he "squeezed out everything left of his youth, put it all in a museum, named the Museum of Regrets ".

At first, Vu. intended to name it Museum of Broken Hearts, but decided to call it Museum of Regrets because he thought everyone has regrets. That name would be more familiar to the audience.

In this "museum", Vu. encapsulated all his thoughts about love, brothers, friends, those who left and those who stayed.

In response to the question after Museum of Regrets , will Vu. only write music for fun? The artist said he will take a long break after a period of "milking himself". "Writing music by himself is like a double-edged sword. The downside is that at some point, writing music is no longer interesting," Vu. confided.

The 9x singer said he "didn't give up writing music, just paused" and "wanted to have more experiences, travel more to have more material for music ".

Instead of writing music and singing, Vu. will spend time producing as well as guiding some young artists to approach their dreams from his own experience - an "amateur", with many confusions when stepping into music.

In addition to Vu's 4 solo songs, he also collaborated with his brothers and friends on 6 songs, including "Sitting and waiting in nostalgia" (with My Anh), "Spending all springtime to wait for each other" (Ha Anh Tuan), "And you will always be the one I love the most" (Khang of Chillies), "Forgotten promises" (Dear Jane), " If you don't love me, who will you love? " (Low G) and "Peace" (Binz).

That's also the reason why when listening to the album Museum of Regret, it's easy to see that this museum is quite colorful.

Besides Vu's familiar pop rock and acoustic qualities, there are also "strange" flavors that rarely or rarely appear in Vu's music.

For example, RnB thanks to the combination with My Anh. My Anh's voice cuts across the middle of the song and flows quietly with Vu's warm voice, creating a quite harmonious combination.

In addition, the resonance of Low G or Binz also brings a vibrant atmosphere, adding to the lyrical, romantic, and even somewhat static musical space of Vu..

In this way, Vu. has turned The Museum of Regret into a story of many people, no longer just Vu's. All are expressed through different lenses.
