Conference of social opinion collaborators of the Government Party Committee

Deputy Head of the Government Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Vu Tri Thang emphasized that there is a lot of diverse information on public opinion, so it must be grasped quickly, promptly and accurately.

On the morning of September 30, the Government Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department held a conference for social opinion collaborators.

Pursuant to the Central Committee's directives and instructions and the Working Regulations of the Government Party Committee; on June 30, 2025, the Government Party Committee Standing Committee issued Decision No. 175-QD/DU to establish a team of social opinion collaborators of the Government Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 35 comrades; Decision No. 176-QD/DU promulgating the Working Regulations of social opinion collaborators of the Government Party Committee.

Regarding the establishment and operation of the team of social opinion collaborators of the Government Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Government Party Committee Vu Tri Thang said that before establishing the team of social opinion collaborators of the Government Party Committee, a number of comrades who were social opinion collaborators at the Party Committees of corporations, general companies, banks (under the former Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc), Party Committees of ministries, branches, agencies (under the former Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc) were still proactive, continuing to maintain the routine of grasping and reflecting the ideological situation and public opinion, sending it to the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Government Party Committee, helping to synthesize and report the situation without interruption.

Since its establishment, the content reflected by this team of collaborators on the ideological situation and public opinion has been one of the important sources of information for the Government Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to synthesize and report to the Government Party Committee's Standing Committee, and has been highly appreciated by the leaders.

Although some initial results have been achieved, the work of public opinion in general, and in the Party and Government in particular, still faces many difficulties. According to Instruction No. 167-HD/BTGTW, dated December 26, 2015 of the Central Propaganda Department, the number of public opinion collaborators at the provincial, municipal and equivalent levels (directly managed by the Propaganda Departments of provincial Party Committees, municipal Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central Committees of socio -political organizations) is from 30 to a maximum of 35 people.

Meanwhile, the Government Party Committee has 51 subordinate Party Committees, so currently some units do not have social opinion collaborators of the Government Party Committee. In addition, due to increasingly high task requirements and changes in organization and apparatus, the current team of collaborators is in great need of training and development in the work of grasping, reflecting the ideological situation, synthesizing, and orienting social opinion to ensure timeliness, practicality, and effectiveness.

At the Conference, delegates thoroughly grasped a number of documents of the Central Committee and the Government Party Committee on public opinion work; listened to instructions on implementing Directive No. 47-CT/TW, and shared and oriented information from the leaders of the Department of Social Opinion Research and the Central Propaganda and Education Commission to make the public opinion work of the Government Party Committee increasingly high-quality and effective.

At the same time, social opinion collaborators of the Government Party Committee discussed how to grasp social opinion information related to the fields of their ministries, branches, agencies and units, and proposed solutions to handle and resolve them./.
