The National Assembly selected two topics for supreme supervision: "Implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio -economic Recovery and Development Program and resolutions of the National Assembly on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023" (to be reported to the National Assembly at the 7th Session) and the topic "Implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023" (to be reported to the National Assembly at the 8th Session). In addition, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly issued Resolution No. 833 on the Supervisory Program of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly in 2024; accordingly, it selected two supervisory topics: "Implementation of policies and laws on innovation of the organization and management system, improving the quality and efficiency of operations of public service units in the period of 2018 - 2023" and the topic "Implementation of policies and laws on ensuring traffic order and safety from 2009 to the end of 2023".

At the Conference, in addition to evaluating the achievements and good experiences in the supervision work of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the agencies of the National Assembly, the delegations of National Assembly deputies and the National Assembly deputies in 2023, it is also necessary to clarify the shortcomings, limitations, difficulties, obstacles and causes, especially subjective causes in the supervision activities. At the same time, it is necessary to exchange and agree on the awareness, content, coordination work, and measures to effectively organize and implement the supervision activities of the National Assembly and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly in 2024, contributing to bringing policies and laws into life, ensuring high efficiency, meeting the expectations of people and voters nationwide.

In his closing speech at the conference, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that this was the third conference in the term on implementing the National Assembly's supervision program. Emphasizing the context of 2024 as the year of preparation for congresses at all levels, organizing the arrangement of administrative units at commune and district levels, therefore, coordination work must be carefully considered to both achieve the requirements of supervision goals and minimize impacts on localities and bases. Therefore, the Chairman of the National Assembly requested the Thematic Supervision Delegations to make the most of available documents and records to summarize, summarize and evaluate the contents related to supervision issues, especially the contents that are discussed in the process of passing amended and supplemented laws at this session or at another session. Regarding other forms of supervision, continue to study how to conduct questioning at meetings and sessions of the National Assembly Standing Committee; do well in mid-term questioning of the National Assembly Standing Committee. Regarding the examination of reports, they must be prepared early, remotely, on the basis of making maximum use of regular supervision activities of the Ethnic Council, National Assembly agencies, National Assembly delegations, National Assembly deputies, and other sources of information and documents.
