Conference on Decrees regulating compensation, support, resettlement and implementation of the Land Law

On June 11, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired an online conference with localities on Decrees regulating compensation, support, and resettlement (R&D) when the State acquires land and detailed regulations for the implementation of a number of articles of the Land Law. Attending at the Ninh Thuan provincial bridge were comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, and localities.

The draft Decree regulating compensation, support, and resettlement when the State reclaims land is built with 3 chapters and 32 articles. The Decree details the compensation, support, and resettlement plans when the State reclaims land; compensation by land with a different purpose than the type of recovered land or by housing when the State reclaims land; compensation, support, and resettlement when the State reclaims land in special cases; detailed regulations on compensation for residential land, other land in land plots with houses, houses and works serving life, agricultural land, non-agricultural land; budget arrangement and payment of compensation, support, and resettlement...

Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities attended the meeting at Ninh Thuan bridge.

The Draft Decree detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Land Law consists of 10 chapters and 114 articles, guiding the implementation of 53 contents of the Land Law. The draft stipulates the position, functions, tasks, financial sources and operating expenses of the Land Registration Office and the Land Fund Development Organization; assigns the Provincial People's Committee to promulgate the coordination regulations of the Land Registration Office and the Land Fund Development Organization.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and giving comments on the draft Decrees. In particular, focusing on the content of detailed regulations for the implementation of a number of articles of the Land Law such as: on planning and land use plans; land use regime; detailed regulations on the establishment, appraisal and approval of land use plans; land for national defense and security tasks; investment projects with sea encroachment activities; monitoring and evaluating land management and use; resolving land disputes, handling violations of land laws against violators when performing official duties in the land sector...

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha assigned the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to review, seriously absorb, and fully synthesize the opinions of the delegates at the conference; edit to ensure details, completeness, synchronization, and consistency with the 2024 Land Law, as well as the system of other relevant legal documents; at the same time, ensure inheritance, stability, and development of the land law system; closely coordinate with relevant ministries, branches, units, and localities to complete the decree to be submitted to the Government.
