Investment Promotion Conference must be appropriate to the stature of the new Lam Dong

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested units, departments, branches and localities to focus on completing all preparations so that the Investment Promotion Conference takes place in accordance with the stature of the new Lam Dong.

Lam Dong Province Investment Promotion Conference 2025 is expected to take place in 2 days from October 10-11, 2025 at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat (Lam Dong).

On the evening of August 26, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired a meeting to agree on the content of the Plan to organize the Lam Dong Provincial Investment Promotion Conference in 2025. Also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches and localities.

Reporting at the meeting, the Lam Dong Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said that the unit is coordinating with departments, branches and localities to prepare venues, select guests and other stages for the conference that are being implemented.

The unit has issued invitations to survey and collect difficulties and problems of enterprises. The classification and response to recommendations on difficulties and problems of enterprises are sent to relevant departments and branches for response.

At the meeting, the vice chairmen of the provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches of Lam Dong province said that for the conference to be successful, the invitation letter and presentation slides should be in both English and Vietnamese to facilitate domestic and foreign investors. The province should invite many investors from large provinces to seek investment opportunities.

Deputy Director of the Department of Finance Le Binh Minh raised issues related to projects calling for investment.

Projects included in the investment call list need to have full legal status, especially projects in the period 2026-2030. The province should choose large enterprises to grant investment memorandums of understanding. There should be social security activities in the conference...

Within the framework of the conference, there will be activities such as: Music and art performances combined with a program to honor outstanding entrepreneurs; Displaying planning maps and a number of projects calling for investment; Displaying and introducing commercial products and services of Lam Dong province's enterprises.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh proposed that units should proactively prepare full content and scripts for provincial leaders to respond to opinions and proposals of businesses at the conference.

However, to organize a successful conference, in line with the stature of the new Lam Dong, the province still has a lot of work to do.
