Speaking at the book donation ceremony, Mr. Ngo Van Hoan, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Education Publishing House, expressed that not long ago, the circulation of storm No. 3 (Wipha) caused a historic flood in the western communes of Nghe An province, leaving behind heavy losses in human lives and property, directly affecting the teaching and learning of teachers and students, especially at schools in remote areas.
After the storm, in addition to rebuilding the infrastructure, quickly stabilizing the children's education is extremely important. Books and school supplies are not only tools for children to continue going to school, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping them to be more confident on the path of seeking knowledge.
"We hope that today's books are not simply material, but also a sharing, a belief, a spiritual encouragement from the Vietnam Education Publishing House for the students and teachers here. Hopefully, in difficult times, the students' studious spirit will be further nurtured, and their belief in knowledge and the future will continue to grow," Mr. Ngo Van Hoan emphasized.
