More than 200 delegates attended the 6th Global Forum of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals

Taking place over 3 days, July 19, 20 and 21 at VinUni University (Hanoi), the 6th Global Young Vietnamese Intellectuals Forum had 201 official delegates and more than 300 observer delegates.

On July 14, the Central Youth Union coordinated with units to hold a press conference to announce the 6th Global Forum of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals.

According to Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Kim Quy, with the theme "Young Vietnamese intellectuals worldwide contribute to the country entering a new era", the Forum aims to connect and promote the role of young intellectuals at home and abroad; propose initiatives and breakthrough solutions for national development; promote the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TU of the Politburo on science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

The Forum had 201 official delegates attending; more than 90% of the delegates were trained abroad; 62 delegates currently work in 20 countries and territories around the world ; there was one professor, 31 associate professors/assistant professors, 150 PhDs and 19 masters/graduate students.

Delegates from key fields of science and technology, such as: Nuclear physics, rocket engines, AI algorithms, information technology, medical technology, materials science, digital transformation, data science...

Notably, among them are many experts in the fields of: Nuclear physics, rocket engines, AI algorithms, green economics, banking and finance, biomedical technology, linguistics...

Speaking at the press conference, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam said that the Global Vietnamese Young Intellectuals Forum is not only an annual event, but also a space for connecting intellectuals, promoting policy dialogue, spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity, and especially creating specific and practical actions to effectively promote young intellectual resources - a force that is increasingly playing a core role in the process of building a strong nation, sustainable development and deep integration with the world.

Through 5 times of organization, the Forum has attracted more than 1,000 young intellectuals at home and abroad to contribute to programs and policies related to the development of young Vietnamese talents.

This year's forum continues to be an opportunity and a channel for exchange between young Vietnamese intellectuals around the world about the vision, mission, role and potential contribution of young Vietnamese intellectuals in the process of national construction and development, promoting the process of deep economic integration of Vietnam with the region and the world.

Within the framework of the Forum, delegates will also visit Vinfast Factory in Hai Phong city, Green SM company, attend a seminar on data security... The Forum's branch seminars are deployed in groups of delegates, organized in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
