Lak district has 2 more district-level OCOP products

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Lak district said that in the second round of scoring and ranking products participating in the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program in 2023, two more products were recognized as meeting the 3-star OCOP product standards at the district level.

Specifically, Hung Thinh Bird's Nest products of business household Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong (Ma hamlet, Bong Krang commune) and Thai Hai clean rice of Thai Hai Agricultural - Fishery Production and Service Cooperative (Tung 1 hamlet, Buon Triet commune).

It is known that Hung Thinh Bird's Nest product is a food - pharmaceutical product made from the nests of swiftlets from the bird's nest house system of the business household and has a contract to purchase raw materials locally to control the input quality.

Hung Thinh Bird's Nest product of business household Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong (Ma hamlet, Bong Krang commune, Lak district) achieved 3-star OCOP at district level.

Regarding Thai Hai Clean Rice products produced according to VietGAP standards, although the price is higher than other types of rice, it is produced from ST24 rice (in the top 3 best rice types in the world ), has long grains, clear white, sticky rice and guaranteed quality.

Evaluating OCOP products will create opportunities to enhance the brand and expand the market for local products. At the same time, it will increase the value and motivate businesses to produce quality and reputable products.
