A glimmer of hope for Quang Nam Club

The organizing committee of the Vietnam Professional Football Tournament, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and related football teams are "holding their breath" waiting for a decision on whether Quang Nam Club can continue operating or not.

Late afternoon on July 25, Mr. Le Dinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Quang Nam Football Development Joint Stock Company - had an important meeting with responsible people to find a solution.

Accordingly, there is an investor who is willing to rescue Quang Nam Club at the last minute. That is the last hope for the Tam Ky Stadium team to continue operating. However, all are just words and need a specific document witnessed by the local manager so that the parties can proceed with the transfer procedure as soon as possible. This is because the 2025 - 2026 V-League season is only about 20 days away from opening.

Returning to Tam Ky after nearly a month in Japan to study for a professional coaching license, Coach Van Sy Son was bewildered by the reality. Mr. Son said he had to return to resolve the procedures for terminating the contract with the team that had expired. More importantly, this coach helped his students quickly find a new team before the domestic player registration deadline on August 1, 2025.

Coach Van Sy Son said: "I am also waiting for the results of the leadership meeting to see if Quang Nam Club continues to compete or quit. If they quit, I will leave Tam Ky tomorrow. If the results come out tonight, I will know how to gather players to compete. I cannot abandon my players at this time."

Also in a passive position is the organizing committee of the Vietnam Professional Football Tournament - VPF. In an effort to meet Mr. Le Dinh in Da Nang to listen to the difficulties and find solutions for Quang Nam Club, however, VPF was unable to contact the team's leadership. Therefore, the meeting did not take place on the afternoon of July 25.

Everyone is holding their breath waiting for the light of hope for Quang Nam Club. A conclusion is urgently needed at this time so that the tournament organizers and VFF can proactively plan the next plan for the 2025 - 2026 season. The plan to promote a team in the National First Division 2024 - 2025 has been consulted by VFF.
