iPhone 15 Pro model revealed with super thin bezels

The leaked iPhone 15 Pro model shows that this will be the iPhone model with the thinnest screen border, about 1.5 mm.

The images were shared by some reputable sources specializing in leaks such as Ice Universe and Majin Bu . Accordingly, the model said to be of the iPhone 15 Pro still uses the Dynamic Island screen like the iPhone 14 Pro, but the bezels are significantly thinner. In addition, the Dynamic Island area is not a continuous strip, but is separated between the camera and sensor parts, like the letter "i" turned horizontally.

These images match some previous information about the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max duo. Back in March, based on some leaked screen protectors from accessory manufacturers, some sources said that the two new Pro models could have screen bezels of about 1.55 mm, 32% thinner than the 2.2 mm on the current iPhone 14 Pro. This also makes the iPhone 15 Pro the thinnest smartphone in the world .

According to Ice Universe , to create such a bezel, Apple used low-pressure injection molding (LIPO) technology. This technology helps push the display closer to the edges, thereby significantly eliminating the black part. LIPO was used to create thin bezels on the Apple Watch Series 7 and iPad. On the 2023 iPhone, this technology may only be applied to the two Pro models, while the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus still retain the old design.

In addition, the Majin Bu account also said that Apple will sell iPhones with charging cables of the same color, instead of just white as before. The image posted by the blogger, later confirmed by collector Kosutami, shows that the cable that comes with the device will be USB-C, with colors black, yellow, orange pink, white and purple.

According to Bloomberg, the iPhone 15 is likely to be announced in mid-September and go on sale on September 22. There are expected to be four models including the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max or 15 Ultra.
