Opening of the 41st Traditional Sports Festival of the Education and Training Sector of Dak Lak Province

On the morning of November 7, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province coordinated with the Provincial Education Trade Union to organize the opening ceremony of the 41st Traditional Sports Festival of the Education and Training sector of Dak Lak province - 2024.

The sports festival had the participation of nearly 1,500 athletes from 77 units.

The 41st Traditional Sports Festival of the Education and Training Sector of Dak Lak Province - 2024 will be held for 3 days (from November 7-9) with the participation of nearly 1,500 athletes from 77 educational units across the province. Athletes will compete in 8 events including: volleyball (men's and women's), men's football, badminton, table tennis, tennis, shuttlecock, chess and swimming.

Athletes will compete according to the schedule arranged at 6 competition locations including: Hoang Viet Primary, Secondary and High School; Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted; Buon Ma Thuot High School; Phan Chu Trinh Middle School; Center for Development of Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities and the Department of Education and Training.

Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan delivered the opening speech of the Sports Festival.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Sports Festival, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Thanh Xuan said that the 41st Traditional Sports Festival of the Education and Training sector of Dak Lak province in 2024 is a meaningful and practical activity organized to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024), the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak province; responding to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" with the goal of maintaining and promoting the movement of physical exercise and physical training for teachers and education managers.

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to the units participating in the Sports Festival.

This is a healthy and useful playground to improve physical fitness, improve health, limit diseases, repel social evils from entering the educational environment, create a new look, new momentum, and be the driving force for the development of the sports movement in the education and training sector of the province.

The teams compete in women's volleyball.

At the same time, it is also an opportunity for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole sector to exchange and learn, exchange experiences, strengthen solidarity, encourage and promote emulation movements among educational institutions; create spiritual motivation for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the provincial education sector to strive to excellently complete the tasks of the 2024-2025 school year.
