Kinhtedothi - The 8th Cao Phong Orange Festival and Trade - Tourism Fair of Hoa Binh province takes place from December 6 to 10, 2024.
On the evening of December 6, at Cao Phong district stadium, Cao Phong district People's Committee coordinated with the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Hoa Binh province to organize the opening ceremony of the 8th Cao Phong Orange Festival and the 2024 Trade - Tourism Fair with the theme "Colors of Muong Thanh and spread".
The festival and fair has a scale of over 100 booths. Besides the booths about Cao Phong oranges, there are also booths displaying, promoting and selling local products from ethnic minorities and mountainous areas, products of businesses and trade cooperatives inside and outside the province, associated with promoting tourism in Cao Phong district.
Within the framework of the festival and fair, there are cultural, artistic, sports , culinary, folk games, etc. activities imbued with traditional culture.
This is an opportunity to promote, protect and develop the Cao Phong orange brand, promote the development of agricultural products in the northern mountainous provinces in general and citrus fruits of Hoa Binh province in particular.
Enterprises, businessmen, and individuals producing and trading in and outside the province have the opportunity to promote trade, enhance the brand of oranges and other agricultural products to stimulate domestic consumption.
At the same time, businesses and entrepreneurs meet, exchange experiences, transfer agricultural technology, contributing to enhancing the value and importance of Cao Phong oranges.
Cao Phong district has suitable conditions for the strong development of citrus fruit trees, of which the main one is orange trees. Currently, the total area of citrus fruit trees in the district reaches over 1,700 hectares, of which over 1,300 hectares are orange trees.
Currently, oranges as well as citrus fruit trees in the district are grown with high-yield, high-quality varieties, cared for according to VietGAP standards, ensuring food hygiene and safety, and are very popular in the market.
