Recently, Truc Bach Ward has invested in building and turning Truc Bach Lake into an attractive destination with unique and impressive ancient cultural features to serve domestic and international tourists.

Tourists can experience 3 hours in a nostalgic space that has been vividly recreated through the project "Train Line No. 6 - Subsidized Car: Kitchen - Cupboard - Tray". This is a unique initiative of the People's Committee of Truc Bach Ward (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi), aiming to bring people and tourists back to old Hanoi, to explore the country's traditional culture and cuisine .

It is known that the idea of ​​forming a tourism project called Tram Line No. 6, expected to have up to 15 carriages, continuing the 5 old train lines of Hanoi, was initiated by Nguyen Dan Huy, Secretary of the Party Committee of Truc Bach Ward (Ba Dinh District) and started to be implemented in 2023 when he was still Chairman of Truc Bach Ward (old). Mr. Nguyen Dan Huy also said that he cherished the idea of ​​bringing tourists back to Hanoi with its elegant and luxurious cultural features, a prosperous and urban place... However, with the development of the times, many things have become the past, so he wants to revive an old corner of Hanoi towards Truth, Goodness, Beauty and humanity, at the same time creating for tourists to enjoy many diverse experiences, from culture, history, art , fine arts, beliefs, cuisine to space - architecture - interior of the subsidy period - ration stamps, along with introducing regional specialties.

The starting point for exploring Truc Bach Lake is Thuy Trung Tien Tu Temple, to learn about Cau Nhi Temple, and the Mother Goddess worship associated with the story of King Ly Cong Uan moving the capital in Canh Tuat year 1010. The existing temple architecture has been restored, the story of the formation of Truc Bach Lake, West Lake... associated with famous traditional craft villages such as silk, bronze casting...

The sacred temple is located on a small island in Truc Bach Lake. The island is known as “a good land for birds to nest” – the only place in the heart of Hanoi where hundreds of storks and herons live. The land is closely linked to the construction and development of Thang Long – Hanoi. Thereby, learning about the spiritual life of Vietnamese people through the Mother Goddess worship and enjoying the art of Chau Van singing, here visitors can enjoy the performance of Hau Dong with special Hau artists such as Ong Hoang Muoi, Co Doi Thuong Ngan… with the sound of Chau drums and the singing of famous artists.

The train cars are like miniature museums , where Vietnamese specialties are introduced, or visitors are taken back to the subsidy period of old Hanoi. Coming to the "Kitchen-Cooker-Tray" car, there are typical cuisines and a space introducing special economic sectors during the subsidy period, along with subsidy period food and drinks at sidewalk tea shops - a characteristic of Hanoi culture.

The rice - paddy - rice wagon recreates the perfect process from the time the rice germinates until it becomes rice and learns about the process of growing rice, processing rice and preparing dishes from rice and green rice, with tourists experiencing by wrapping spring rolls themselves... then enjoying Hanoi fried spring rolls with the old flavor and enjoying lotus tea, listening to the introduction of how Hanoi people make lotus tea and then enjoying the special phu the cake of Truc Bach land.
