According to the working group, construction materials are being gathered in some project sites. Many houses have completed their reinforced concrete foundations.
Meeting and informing some residents at Khang Linh project, Chairman of Phuoc Thang Ward People's Committee said that the investor of this project has not yet completed the land procedures as prescribed to be eligible to construct housing projects and put into real estate business. Therefore, the ward requested residents to stop construction of ongoing projects. The local government understands the difficulties and frustrations of the residents because of the project's problems that have lasted for many years. However, construction must be carried out in accordance with the law.

Representing the project's residents, Ms. Dang Thi Lieu said that the residents agreed with the temporary suspension of construction works; at the same time, she expressed her joy when the leaders of Phuoc Thang Ward People's Committee paid attention, directly surveyed, and met with residents at the Khang Linh project. Ms. Lieu said that more than 300 households who bought land at the Khang Linh project have suffered many difficulties and fatigue over the past years. The residents hope that the local government will quickly find solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles so that residents can soon have stable and legal housing.
According to the People's Committee of Phuoc Thang Ward, the Khang Linh project has more than 300 households buying land by contributing capital. Through the survey, there are currently 39 completed houses, 6 houses under construction. Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung shared more, after asking people to stop building existing works, the ward leaders had a meeting with the project investor and the people to clearly determine the legal basis, responsibilities and direction of handling according to regulations, in accordance with the legitimate wishes of all parties, especially the people.
