Hot air balloons shine brightly in the sky of Ha Long

On the morning of September 1, the 2024 Hot Air Balloon Festival with the theme "Heritage City - Colors of Ha Long" opened at 30/10 Square (Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City). The colorful hot air balloons in the sky of the city on the shore of the beautiful World Heritage - Natural Wonder of Ha Long Bay attracted thousands of people and tourists to visit and experience.

From early morning on September 1, at October 30 Square (Hong Hai ward, Ha Long city), colorful hot air balloons were prepared before the opening ceremony of the Festival. The hot air balloon flight with the national flag opened the Hot Air Balloon Festival with the theme "Heritage City - Colors of Ha Long" in 2024. Ha Long City leaders attached flags and flowers to large hot air balloons. Technicians adjust the temperature to keep the balloons stable during the festival.

A large number of people came to October 30 Square to visit and experience the first hot air balloon festival held in Ha Long. Along with hot air balloons, motorized paragliders also took off in the sky of Ha Long, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere.
