Groundbreaking ceremony of two key projects at President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site

On November 28, in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province, the Provincial People's Committee and T&T Group jointly organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the Cultural Tourism Area project and the 9-storey project at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, part of the special National Monument of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site.

This is an important event to implement the content of the Planning for conservation, restoration and promotion of the value of the special national relic site of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1943/QD-TTg dated November 27, 2020.

Accordingly, the project of Cultural Tourism Area belonging to the special national relic site of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in principle for investment according to Decision No. 85/QD-UBND dated August 25, 2021, with the goal of building an ecological tourism area, commercial services as a satellite to support and promote the value of the special national relic site of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site.

Through public bidding and the results of evaluating the capacity and experience of the investor, Trang Thi Trading and Service Joint Stock Company was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province as the investor to implement the project according to Decision No. 154/QD-UBND dated December 9, 2021.

The Cultural Tourism Area Project is located in the newly constructed area of ​​the relic complex, next to existing relic clusters such as: Sen village relic cluster, Hoang Tru village relic cluster, Chung mountain relic cluster and the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan (mother of President Ho Chi Minh).

According to the plan, the project is deployed on an area of ​​over 43 hectares, including: parking lot, trees, services and landscape trees; commercial service area; cultural center; tourist service area; experimental area, agricultural conservation, public traffic... with a total investment of over 1,735 billion VND.

In addition to the Cultural Tourism Area project, T&T Group has also proposed and been approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province to be the sponsor, completing the idea, design plan and investing in the construction of the 9-storey waterfall at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan. The project is being implemented on the basis of renovating, restoring the existing natural stream, promising to become a highlight of the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area. Each floor is sculpted with a type of flower as a way to express gratitude for the birth and upbringing of President Ho Chi Minh's mother.

The project is inspired by images and symbolic objects associated with the life of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan in particular and Vietnamese women in the 19th century in general such as: mirror, water surface, lotus flower, turban, Hoang Tru village gate...

In particular, the central circular lake is inspired by images imbued with Eastern culture, like a mirror reflecting the entire Nam Dan sky and symbolizing the intersection between history, present and future. The circulation of water through 9 levels carries discreet, "symbolic" ideas for eternity and expresses the deep remembrance of visitors to the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, expressed his gratitude to T&T Group and Mr. Do Quang Hien, Chairman of the Group's Strategy Committee, for accompanying the province throughout the past time.

"With the enthusiasm, capacity, experience, potential and responsibility of T&T Group, closely coordinating with the Department of Culture and Sports, Nam Dan district and related departments and branches to implement the Cultural Tourism Area project and the 9-storey Waterfall project in accordance with regulations, ensuring quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation, completing and putting the project into use soon. The Cultural Tourism Area and the 9-storey Waterfall will become symbolic cultural works, commensurate with the value of Ho Chi Minh's ideology and culture in his homeland, contributing to creating and promoting good cultural values ​​and bringing benefits to the community, making a positive contribution to the economic and social development of the province", Mr. Trung emphasized.

Mr. Do Quang Hien, Chairman of the Strategy Committee of T&T Group, said that the Group is very honored and proud to be assigned by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Nghe An province to survey, plan, design and build the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Area in Kim Lien, Nam Dan, Nghe An.
