At the event, delegates and experts focused on discussing "hot" issues of the global economic situation affecting the Vietnamese economy in general and the digital economy in particular, as well as new prospects and opportunities for domestic digital technology businesses.

According to Harvard Business Reviews: “Game-changing technologies such as 5G, AI, and Cloud Computing are reaching the cusp of widespread adoption. Research from this site shows: Businesses are looking to move about 60% of their IT assets to the Cloud by 2025, and more than 50% of businesses report having applied AI to at least one function in their business operations.
Accordingly, the problem of the current digital economy is not cutting IT budgets, but determining budget priorities to upgrade IT platforms to increase speed, upgrade security, increase resilience and resource reuse, to promote automation of processes, exploit data platforms, and continuously innovate IT architecture.
Experts commented: “Vietnamese Cloud Computing & Data Center enterprises have mastered technology, have good growth rates, compete equally with international Big Techs, and are ready to meet the needs of businesses to “go to the cloud” on the path to Vietnam becoming one of the important digital centers of ASEAN”.
At the event, the Vietnam Cloud Computing and Data Center Club (VNCDC) - sponsored by the Vietnam Internet Association (VIA) - announced the VNCDC Report 2023 within the framework of this year's Internet Day 2023 event.
