In order to be proactive in natural disaster prevention and control and search and rescue, minimizing damage to people and property, Dong Van III Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company has built a Flood and Storm Prevention and Control Plan for 2025 according to the motto "4 on-site" (on-site command; on-site forces; on-site materials and means; on-site logistics) and "Three readiness" (ready to proactively prevent; ready to respond promptly; ready to overcome urgently and effectively).

The Company has established a Flood and Storm Prevention and Control Committee at Dong Van III Industrial Park, headed by the Director; issued the Regulations on the organization and operation of the Committee, and assigned specific tasks to each member. During the rainy and stormy season, the Company coordinates to promote information, propaganda, warnings, and instructions on measures to prevent and respond to natural disasters to enterprises in the Industrial Park; inspects, maintains, repairs, dredging sewers, drainage systems, and collects trash at trash racks to ensure fast and effective drainage; inspects and trims trees that pose a risk of causing danger, and supports newly planted trees. The Company is also ready to mobilize means, materials, communications, food, and other resources to ensure flood and storm prevention and control work; periodically notifies enterprises to check internal drainage systems and take measures to prevent flooding.

Currently, the terrain of the industrial park is located in a relatively high area, the current cos (+3.4) is higher than the surrounding area, so it is convenient for water drainage.

Dong Van III Industrial Park has an area of ​​300 hectares, currently has over 80 operating enterprises. The Industrial Park has basically completed the investment in a synchronous rainwater drainage system along internal roads. The entire rainwater drainage system and open ditches in the Industrial Park mainly drain into the A4-6 canal to the Chau Giang River and the A4-8 canal through the Lac Trang pumping station to the Day River. In case of local flooding, the company will operate a large-capacity pumping station invested by itself and coordinate with the Ha Nam Province Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited and Duy Tien Irrigation Enterprise to quickly drain water, ensuring the safety of production and business of enterprises.
