Mr. Thom said that every year on December 20, he starts taking on bronze polishing jobs to earn extra income to cover living expenses during Tet.

He polishes a set of bronze incense burners for about 1 hour, the salary is 200,000 VND/set. Every day he finishes polishing 4-5 sets of bronze incense burners, earning about 800,000 VND to 1 million VND.

“Every time a customer brings a bronze incense burner set, I write down the information to avoid confusion. Polishing a bronze incense burner is not difficult but requires meticulousness and care to avoid damaging the set.

The most important step in polishing a bronze incense burner is cooling. In addition, depending on the shape of the bronze incense burner, the work will be faster or slower. Usually, a rectangular bronze incense burner will be more difficult to polish than a round one.

Mr. Khanh Phuong (229 Phan Boi Chau, Tam Ky City) said that he does electrical repairs every day. Around December 23, he took on an extra job polishing bronze incense burners.
