Proposal to inspect land management and use in Dan Phuong district

(CLO) According to Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy, through the citizen's complaint, it shows that the management and use of land in Dan Phuong district (Hanoi) still has many problems, many shortcomings, inadequacies and violations. The Hanoi People's Committee needs to direct resolutely and assign a comprehensive inspection of the management and use of land in this locality.

On November 29, the Government Inspectorate announced that Deputy Inspector General Duong Quoc Huy chaired a regular citizen reception in Hanoi . Also attending were Head of the Central Citizen Reception Committee Nguyen Hong Diep, representatives of the leaders of Department I, the Government Inspectorate, leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities in Hanoi.

At the meeting, Mr. and Mrs. Ha Thi Hoa, Nguyen Van Gioi, Nguyen Thi Thue, Nguyen Ba Hoan, Nguyen Xuan Du representing 300 households residing in 3 communes: Lien Hong, Lien Ha, Lien Trung, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi city made recommendations and reflected on the content related to the forced eviction of households' production and business factories in 3 communes: Lien Hong, Lien Ha, Lien Trung, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi city, affecting the rights and interests of households; the households requested the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district to consider and resolve the temporary suspension of the enforcement and create conditions for households to continue production and business, stabilize their lives until the state recovers and uses this land.

In addition, households requested the People's Committee of Dan Phuong district to facilitate the conversion of land use purposes in cases consistent with the planning.

After listening to the opinions of the citizens' representatives and the participating agencies, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy concluded that this is a case under the jurisdiction of the Hanoi People's Committee, but in order to resolve it early and from afar, to avoid public frustration, the Hanoi People's Committee needs to direct Hanoi agencies, specifically the Dan Phuong District People's Committee, to carefully review the regulations to resolve it thoroughly, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people. Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy said that when resolving the case, one must put oneself in the position of the people to perceive and work thoroughly, with reason and emotion.

According to Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy, through the citizen's complaint and the opinions at the citizen reception, it can be seen that the management and use of land in Dan Phuong district still has many problems, many shortcomings, inadequacies and violations. Accordingly, the Hanoi People's Committee needs to have drastic direction, assign the City Inspectorate to comprehensively inspect the management and use of land in the district to make recommendations and handle according to the provisions of law.

Deputy Inspector General of the Government Duong Quoc Huy assigned the Central People's Reception Committee to coordinate with Department I, the Government Inspectorate to inspect, monitor and urge the settlement of citizens' complaints and petitions according to regulations. At the same time, notify the results of the settlement of the above two cases to the Government Inspectorate before March 31, 2025.
