Hanoi City supports 100 billion VND to help people affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi)

On the afternoon of October 2, at the launching ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, comrade Bui Huyen Mai, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, presented the city's support of 100 billion VND to help people quickly overcome the consequences.

At the launching ceremony, on behalf of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien read the "Appeal of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on mobilizing support for people to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 10".

Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in a very short time, many units, businesses, organizations, individuals and localities across the country have made noble gestures, calling for mobilization and registering to support the people who suffered losses.

On behalf of the leaders of Hanoi city, comrade Bui Huyen Mai presented the donation of 100 billion VND from Hanoi city to the representative of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The above support from Hanoi city demonstrates the spirit of "Mutual love and affection", "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country", at the same time, is the timely sharing and encouragement of the Party Committee, government and people of the capital with the people of the provinces affected by natural disasters, to help people soon stabilize their lives.

* At the launching ceremony, the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front received more than 673 billion VND from agencies, units, organizations and individuals who donated and registered to support people affected by storm No. 10.

At the launching ceremony, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee announced the list of 17 provinces and cities receiving the first phase of support from the Central relief fund to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 with a total amount of 265 billion VND.

This amount is allocated to 3 provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri, each with 30 billion VND; 2 provinces of Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa, each with 20 billion VND; 3 provinces of Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, each with 15 billion VND; 6 provinces of Lang Son, Cao Bang , Son La, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Hung Yen and 3 cities of Hai Phong, Hue and Da Nang, each with 10 billion VND.
