Deputy General Director Nguyen Thanh Binh has just signed an official dispatch to the Market Management Department of provinces and centrally run cities regarding strengthening the inspection of legal regulations on electrical equipment products in response to the increasing demand of the people.
Recently, record heat has occurred in many localities, leading to increased demand for electrical appliances such as generators, rechargeable fans, energy-saving cooling devices, etc. Due to limited supply, some organizations and individuals have taken advantage of this situation to make illegal profits, affecting the rights of consumers.

In order to prevent violations and protect consumer rights, the General Department of Market Management requests the Market Management Departments of provinces and centrally run cities to implement a number of contents:
Strengthen the work of grasping the area, proactively deploy professional measures, detect and strictly handle violations against organizations and individuals producing and trading in products such as generators, rechargeable fans, energy-saving cooling equipment, etc.
Deputy Director General Nguyen Thanh Binh requested that violations must be strictly handled and the names of establishments, addresses, and types of violating products must be publicly announced on mass media according to regulations.
The General Department's leaders also requested the Market Management Departments of provinces and cities to implement and regularly report to the General Department of Market Management to promptly grasp the situation.
