KOVECA: wishes to connect and open direct flights between Quy Nhon and Korea

On August 28, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee held a working session with the Korea-Vietnam Economic and Cultural Association (KOVECA). Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang expressed his wish to make the relationship between Gia Lai province and KOVECA more effective and practical.

At the meeting, Mr. Kwon Sung Teak - Chairman of KOVECA expressed that with 10 years of experience working with the Government, associations and Vietnamese enterprises in the economic , cultural and social fields, Mr. Kwon Sung Teak believes that KOVECA Association will play a bridging role, bringing Korean enterprises to learn, invest and develop in Gia Lai.

Mr. Kwon Sung Teak emphasized that Gia Lai in particular and Vietnam in general have a unique culture, rich in national identity. This is a great advantage for developing the cultural and tourism sectors in the coming time. In particular, Vietnamese culture is very suitable with the trends and culture of Korean people.

In addition, Mr. Kwon Sung Teak also expressed his desire to connect and open a direct flight route between Quy Nhon and Korea, in order to create favorable conditions for Korean people to come to Gia Lai not only for tourism but also to learn and expand investment opportunities. He hoped that the provincial leaders would pay more attention and support so that Korean enterprises could easily access, invest and cooperate in Quy Nhon in particular and Gia Lai province in general.

Receiving the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Gia Lai has many potentials and outstanding advantages in agriculture, renewable energy, processing industry, eco-tourism and culture. These are the areas that the province is prioritizing to call for strategic investors, including enterprises from Korea.

The Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that Gia Lai will continue to improve the investment environment in an open and transparent manner, and is committed to accompanying businesses in the process of implementing projects. Gia Lai Province hopes that the KOVECA Association will continue to promote its role as a connection and introduce many Korean businesses and corporations to learn about and cooperate in Gia Lai.

Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang also expressed his wish to make the relationship between Gia Lai province and KOVECA Association more effective and practical. At the same time, he hoped that through KOVECA Association, the relationship between Vietnam and Korea will develop more deeply and sustainably.
