With a strong belief in the value of education , teacher Phung Thi Thu Hien has overcome many difficulties, constantly striving to learn, innovate and be creative in teaching, so that each day in class is a journey of sowing hope, each lecture is a bridge bringing students closer to knowledge and the future.
Meeting teacher Hien for the first time, many people immediately feel sympathy because of her gentleness and tenderness. With her calm and experienced nature, people are also impressed by her resilience when they know that she has overcome many difficulties and storms of life to raise two daughters to be successful in their studies.
“In life, everyone has their own ups and downs, their own sadness, but I overcame them when I found joy in my work, found peace when I saw the innocent, naive eyes of my students” - teacher Phung Thi Thu Hien shared.
Although she is 50 years old, teacher Phung Thi Thu Hien still keeps learning, always passionately researching and creating to have the newest, most attractive and effective teaching methods. At the same time, she always promotes the spirit of self-study and self-improvement through researching documents, reference books and applying information technology in teaching, helping students to promote positivity, initiative and creativity in the process of acquiring knowledge.
Not only stopping at the theory of lectures, teacher Phung Thi Thu Hien also actively participates in training courses, seminars, and workshops organized by all levels and effectively applies them to teaching practice. In 2022, teacher Phung Thi Thu Hien graduated with a Master's degree in English Language with Excellent grade; at the Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition, school year 2023-2024, she was one of the participating teachers with the highest score. Teacher Hien shared: I am passionate about participating in courses, professional training, studying for a master's degree, and taking part in the Excellent Teacher Competition not to enroll, but to use that knowledge to "sow the seeds" of knowledge for generations of students.

In teaching, Ms. Hien has boldly applied educational tools such as Flipgrid to teach English speaking to 6th grade students, not only helping them practice language skills but also developing confidence and communication skills, which are major barriers for middle school students when learning foreign languages. In 7th grade, Ms. Hien continues to improve teaching quality by effectively applying AI tools such as Grammarly, ChatGPT, QuillBot, Suno - software that is widely used in global education to support students to improve their English writing skills in a proactive, creative and highly personalized way.
The quality of her students has been constantly improving: the quality of learning with a Good grade in English increased from 37% (grade 6) to nearly 48% (grade 7), exceeding the set target. In the two school years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, Ms. Hien has achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level; Party member Excellently completing the task. Recently, Ms. Hien was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province for her outstanding achievements in performing her duties.
The greatest happiness of teacher Phung Thi Thu Hien is to see her students grow up, with the knowledge that she contributes to inspiring. That gives her the strength to "plant a seed of knowledge every day", believing that those seeds will bloom in the future. Ms. Hien believes that: Teaching is not only about imparting knowledge but also about nurturing aspirations, honing character, cultivating love so that later on they will become virtuous and talented citizens, making many contributions to society...
