People in Da Tro village change crop structure to bring high economic efficiency

Da Tro village is located in the center of Lac Duong commune cluster (Lam Dong), with mainly ethnic minorities living. People's lives mainly depend on agricultural production with the main crop being coffee and forest management and protection contracts, so there are still many difficulties. However, in recent years, many households in the area have boldly switched to crops that bring high economic efficiency such as: vegetables, beans, strawberries, artichokes...

To achieve this transformation, the Party Cell of Da Tro village always plays a leading role, effectively implementing directives and resolutions to the people. Party members in the cell are exemplary in emulation movements, transforming the structure of crops and livestock, and increasing production for households in the village to learn and follow.

According to the Party Secretary of Da Tro village, Thang Nai Thuy, the task of leading the people in economic development is identified by the village Party Committee and Party cell as one of the key tasks. First of all, it is to mobilize the people to change the crop structure and develop a production linkage model to contribute to increasing income.

“To promote the leadership and direction of the Party cell, first of all, we always create solidarity and unity from the Party Committee; promote the exemplary and pioneering role of the head of the Party cell, branch and Party members. In monthly meetings, the Party cell always spends time discussing and proposing economic development solutions suitable to the practical situation of the locality. The Party cell assigns each Party member to coordinate with the village branches and unions to organize propaganda and mobilize people to apply mechanization in production, change the structure of crops and livestock, orient people to participate in economic development models, contributing to increasing people's income", Secretary of the Party cell of Da Tro village Thang Nai Thuy shared.
