On December 31, at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, the Closing Ceremony of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 took place. THACO representative, Mr. Nguyen Mot - Senior Director in charge of Culture - Communications attended the program.
The closing ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Phuc - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council; Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, Head of Steering Committee; Mr. Pham S - Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, Head of Organizing Committee of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024, along with organizations, businesses and thousands of tourists and local people.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham S - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee said: "Lam Dong Province has welcomed 2 million visitors to Da Lat during this year's flower festival season, with total social revenue estimated at over 3,600 billion VND, contributing significantly to exceeding the target of the number of visitors, welcoming the 10 millionth visitor in 2024. In addition, the new points in the program have spread the beautiful image of the city of thousands of flowers to international friends, making Da Lat an ideal destination on the world tourism map".
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Mot - Senior Director in charge of Culture - Communications THACO received flowers and a letter of thanks from the leaders of Lam Dong province for the Group's positive contributions to the program.
Accompanying the program, THACO hopes to contribute to building Lam Dong province into a unique cultural and artistic center and an attractive tourist destination for visitors. Thereby, contributing to the local socio-economic development, creating a premise for future cooperation.
After nearly 1 month of organization, the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024 with the theme "Da Lat Flowers - Symphony of Colors" includes 10 main programs and 45 programs responding to outstanding activities in Da Lat City, Bao Loc City and neighboring districts and provinces. Typical examples include: flower space; Bao Loc art program - Huong Tra - Sac To city; Wine - Tea - Coffee street and Da Lat - Lam Dong specialties; Da Lat Vegetable - Flower market... The programs not only promote the image of culture, people, tourism of Da Lat - Lam Dong to domestic and international tourists but also honor the value of flower growing, agricultural products as well as the cultural identity, natural landscape of Lam Dong in general and Da Lat in particular.
