Ho Chi Minh City leaders remember artist Diep Minh Chau, who created works about Uncle Ho.

(HTV) - This morning, a working delegation led by Comrade Van Thi Bach Tuyet - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee visited and paid tribute to the family of the late Painter and Sculptor Diep Minh Chau - Former President of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association.

Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Organization Board Van Thi Bach Tuyet kindly visited the family of the late painter and sculptor Diep Minh Chau.

Painter Diep Minh Chau is the artist with the most exhibitions and creations about Uncle Ho with more than 200 works. His name and career are introduced in the European Encyclopedia. He was also honored to be awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Arts by the State. His lifetime works include Uncle Ho's Portrait, Uncle Ho by Lenin Stream, Uncle Ho with Children. Of which, the bronze statue of Uncle Ho in Viet Bac is currently located at the Ho Chi Minh City Children's House.
