Provincial People's Committee leaders received and worked with the working delegation of Phu Yen province

On November 24, comrade Phan Tan Canh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting and worked with the delegation of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee to learn about and study agricultural production models on developing high-tech agriculture (CNC) and specific mechanisms and policies to support agricultural development and farmers in Ninh Thuan province.

Comrade Le Tan Ho, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Phu Yen Provincial Delegation highly appreciated Ninh Thuan 's efforts in the agricultural sector; thereby hoping that Ninh Thuan would share its experience in attracting businesses to invest in CNC agriculture, supporting the construction and promotion of OCOP products, developing community tourism, and organizing production in new rural construction.

Talking to the working delegation of Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee, comrade Phan Tan Canh emphasized: Ninh Thuan always identifies agriculture as one of the five economic pillars of the province. To develop production, the province identifies investment in irrigation systems as a decisive factor along with re-planning key agricultural production areas. 12 specific products and 186 OCOP products have been identified to apply development support policies; promote trade, and advertise agricultural products. In addition, the province also cooperates with tourist destinations to build 11 points to display and sell local specific products. Ninh Thuan also focuses on supporting farmers in exploiting specific products to develop agricultural tourism models; applying CNC agricultural production, attracting investment enterprises, transferring techniques, and linking with processing to increase the value of agricultural products. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that through the exchange, Ninh Thuan will gain more experience in perfecting policies, building links between the two provinces for mutual development, and promoting local strengths.
