VFF leaders met and gave gifts to the teams on the occasion of National Day September 2

VHO - The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu and representatives of VFF leaders recently met and presented gifts to the Vietnam U18, U14 and U16 women's teams on the occasion of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Specifically, the Vietnam Futsal team is training in Ho Chi Minh City to prepare for the 2026 Asian Futsal Qualifiers, the Vietnam U16 women's team is competing in the 2025 Southeast Asian U16 Women's Championship in Indonesia and will continue to train in Germany under the Bundesliga Dream project.

Meanwhile, the national team and U23 national team also officially gathered from August 29.

Speaking at the meeting, General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu praised the players' serious training spirit and efforts during the time when the whole country is looking forward to important events.

General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu said that in addition to the teams training at the Center, Vietnamese football currently has many other teams actively preparing for international missions.

For the national team, the immediate goal is the final qualifying matches for the 2027 Asian Cup taking place next October.

The national U23 team will enter the 2026 U23 Asian Qualifiers - Group C, held in Viet Tri ( Phu Tho ) from September 3 to 9.

"We are all joining the common movement of the whole country, determined to excellently complete the assigned tasks," General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu emphasized.

On this occasion, on behalf of the VFF leadership, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu presented National Day gifts on September 2 to the team members, and wished the teams effective training, successful competition, and meeting the expectations of the large number of fans.
