Go Chua Communal House Festival, Huu Lien Commune 2025

- On April 10, 2025, the 13th day of the 3rd month of the year At Ty, the Party Committee, government and people of Huu Lien commune, Huu Lung district solemnly organized the Go Chua communal house festival in 2025.

From early morning on the 13th day of the 3rd lunar month, many people and tourists participated in the procession of the Long throne of the Non Ni great god from the Upper Communal House and the Long throne of the Mo Hoan great god from the Lower Communal House to the Go Chua Communal House.

Go Chua Communal House is located in the majestic natural space of Huu Lien land, not only is it a place to worship Duc Thanh Quy Minh Dai Vuong, one of the three generals who were awarded titles by the Royal Court, with the King's decree granting Quy Minh the title of "Supreme God", but it is also a center of cultural and religious activities of the local people for many generations. In 2019, Go Chua Communal House was rebuilt with the contributions of the people in the commune and philanthropists, agencies and units inside and outside the commune. In 2010, the Provincial People's Committee decided to preserve and develop the intangible cultural heritage of the Huu Lien Go Chua Communal House Festival on the 13th day of the third lunar month. The rituals and folk performances have also been restored and gradually organized more and more solemnly, imbued with the national cultural identity.

Performances at the Festival

The 2025 Go Chua Communal House Festival is held on April 9 and 10 (March 12 and 13, At Ty year). In the early morning of March 13, there is a procession of the Non Ni Dai Than's Long Throne and the Mo Hoan Dai Than's Long Throne from the Lower Communal House to Go Chua Communal House. After that, delegates, people and tourists from all over the country will participate in the Opening Ceremony and offer incense in the Communal House. The festival is held in the afternoon and evening of March 13, including organizing folk games in the Communal House yard and performing ancient Cheo plays in the Communal House.

The Go Chua Communal House Festival is a long-standing traditional cultural feature of the people of Huu Lien Commune. This year, the organization of the Festival has also been carefully prepared, ensuring that activities take place safely and healthily.

Leaders of Huu Lung District People's Committee awarded the certificate and honorary plaque of ASEAN Community Tourism Award to the representative of the Board of Directors of Huu Lien Tourism Service Cooperative and 7 homestays that met ASEAN standards in the commune.

On this occasion, the leaders of Huu Lung District People's Committee awarded the certificate and the ASEAN Community Tourism Award to Huu Lien community tourism site. This is one of five units in Vietnam honored to receive the award in the ASEAN Community Tourism Award category - CBT ASEAN at the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) taking place from January 15-20, 2025 in Malaysia. The ASEAN Tourism Award is an annual event to honor localities and units with high-quality tourism products and services, contributing to the sustainable development of tourist destinations in the ASEAN region. This is an opportunity for tourism businesses as well as local tourism organizations to effectively market their tourism activities and contribute to promoting the national tourism brand.
