On the afternoon of July 9, at the fireworks display site on the banks of the Han River, two fireworks teams, Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam) and Jiangxi Yangfeng (China), are focusing on the final preparations for the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025 on the evening of July 12.
In just over a week, each team installed, arranged and programmed about 7,000 fireworks to light up the night sky of Da Nang city in the final night with the theme "Welcoming the new era".
Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam) and Jiangxi Yangfeng (China) are two teams with distinct marks in both performance style and fireworks language, expected to create a sublime Final night of DIFF 2025.
The two teams shared a common message of the times: the desire for peace , development and connection between nations. Each performance was meticulously invested in, from content structure, music to modern artillery techniques, promising to bring the audience moments of explosive emotions by the Han River.
According to Colonel Tran Thanh Son, Captain of Team Z121 Vina Pyrotech, this is the first time the team has participated in the DIFF Festival, so they only hope to participate, exchange, and learn from experience.
However, after the qualifying round performance, the whole team was very excited to receive the support and acceptance of a large audience and was highly appreciated by the judges. The whole team is trying their best to bring the highest artistic and emotional values, worthy of being the excellent team to make it to the final night.
Also according to the Captain of Team Z121 Vina Pyrotech, compared to the first performance on June 7, in the final night, the team had to change to both stick to the theme of the competition night, "The Era of Rising", and clearly express the spirit that the team wanted to convey.
“We realized that in the era of development and progress, the core value that needs to be preserved and promoted is peace and stability. Therefore, the team decided to choose the message of “peace” as the theme for the final performance. From this message, we built the entire content, selected appropriate fireworks and music effects, to be able to fully convey the spirit of an era of sustainable development, associated with the aspiration for peace,” Colonel Tran Thanh Son shared.
As for the representative of the fireworks team from China, Mr. Liang Weiming, Captain of the Jiangxi Yangfeng team, said that the whole team was very honored because this was the second year the Chinese team made it to the Final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.
The whole team is working hard towards the championship title. The team named their competition in the final night “Shining Gem - Future City.”
With new musical melodies as well as unique fireworks techniques, the team hopes to conquer the audience in Da Nang city.
Not only fireworks, the final night of DIFF 2025 will have a vibrant and attractive art stage with the appearance of famous artists such as: Singer My Tam, singer Tung Duong, singer Huong Tram... along with leading professional artists and dance troupes in Vietnam.
In addition, SKY AR virtual reality technology continues to create multi-layered experiences that will help audiences fully immerse themselves in the visual feast of fireworks, between real space and digital technology.
The final night of DIFF 2025 will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 12, broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television; promising to bring together the pinnacle of art, light and music, closing the longest fireworks season in the 15-year history of DIFF, lighting up pride, the desire for peace and connection between nations.
