Groundbreaking ceremony of Uong Bi Golf Course construction investment project

On the morning of June 16, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Uong Bi Golf Course Construction Investment Project took place in Uong Bi City. Attending were comrades: Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Uong Bi Golf Course has a scale of 36 holes, on an area of ​​140 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND invested by Ha Long Bay Golf Course Investment Joint Stock Company. The project is deployed in Yen Trung Lake area, Phuong Dong ward and soon Yen Tu ward. The project consists of 3 phases, the first 18 holes are expected to be put into operation after 18 months from the groundbreaking date; the entire project will be completed within 46 months. The event not only marks a new step forward in the field of tourism and sports services of Uong Bi city in particular, but also contributes to the socio -economic development of Quang Ninh province in general.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: The construction of Uong Bi Golf Course will create new tourism products, attracting domestic and foreign tourists. At the same time, it will create jobs for local people, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development, as well as achieving the target of double-digit economic growth of Quang Ninh province in 2025.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Quang Ninh province will always accompany, support and create favorable conditions for the investor to implement the project on schedule. At the same time, the investor is required to comply with the provisions of the law on investment, construction, land and environment; apply advanced and environmentally friendly technology in the process of building and operating the golf course; proactively connect with other tourist destinations to build attractive tourism products.

With diverse terrain and beautiful natural landscapes, Quang Ninh has many advantages to develop international-class golf courses, thereby contributing to attracting tourists, especially high-end tourists. Golf courses possess distinct landscape advantages, creating novelty and unique experiences for tourists, making the journey to conquer golf courses in Quang Ninh more attractive. Also according to the planning of Quang Ninh province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Quang Ninh province will develop 22 golf courses.

When completed, the Uong Bi Golf Course project will create a highlight in terms of landscape architecture, attracting tourists to visit and experience, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development, services, tourism and sports of Quang Ninh province.
