With a strong force of nearly 3,000 union members and youth (YVTN), operating in 22 union bases and affiliated unions; every year, the Muong Cha District Youth Union Executive Committee has launched and organized many activities to create conditions for YVTN to participate in contributing and growing up. Typical examples include the youth volunteer program, youth joining hands to build new rural areas; supporting policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, the poor to repair houses, sow and harvest rice; environmental sanitation; actively participating in environmental protection, responding to climate change...
Mr. Pham The Kien, Secretary of Muong Cha District Youth Union, said that in recent years, the source of developing party members has mainly relied on the youth union force. Meanwhile, this force is increasingly decreasing because they often go to work far away. In addition, a part of the youth living in the locality has limited political awareness, is afraid to participate in Youth Union activities, and has no will to strive to join the Party... In the face of that situation, with a proactive and decisive spirit, under the leadership of the District Party Committee Standing Committee, the District Party Committee Executive Committee, Muong Cha District Youth Union regularly promotes propaganda work, raises awareness, arouses the will to strive in youth union members; strengthens support activities in terms of facilities, means of production, business capital, and transfer of science and technology for youth union members to establish themselves and make a living on their homeland. Thanks to that, since the beginning of the year, the Youth Union has had over 150 outstanding people honored to join the Party's ranks.
In addition to paying attention to and developing new party members in the youth union force, Muong Cha district also focuses on training, fostering, and creating sources to recruit party members in schools. Of the total of nearly 1,570 management staff, teachers, and employees in the district, there are nearly 850 party members, accounting for 54%.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga, Party Cell Secretary, Principal of Na Sang Kindergarten No. 2, shared: The school currently has 28 party members out of a total of 31 cadres, teachers and employees. Determining party member development is an important requirement, not only contributing to improving the quality of the party organization but also improving the overall quality of education of the school. Therefore, every year, the unit pays special attention to creating sources and developing party members with the motto "not chasing quantity but neglecting quality". All stages are carried out seriously and strictly to select truly excellent and enthusiastic people.
Honored to be admitted to the Party in March 2023, Party member Nguyen Thi Quynh confided: Being admitted to the Party is an honor, a pride and a worthy achievement for my constant efforts and determination. This is also a responsibility and motivation for me to continue to strive, to be a worthy exemplary Party member, always completing all assigned tasks well, contributing to building a clean and strong Party cell.
Not only finding solutions to develop the party in the youth union force and educational institutions, in recent years, the Party committees at all levels in Muong Cha district have regularly paid attention to developing the party for members of associations, unions as well as elite people in villages and hamlets. Many movements, after being deployed and responded to, have become regular and continuous activities, bringing practical results in localities.
Mr. Hoang Van Nguyen, Head of the Organizing Committee of Muong Cha District Party Committee, said that in practice, to do well the work of developing party members, along with doing well the work of building clean and strong grassroots party organizations, it is necessary to focus on leadership, promote socio -economic development, improve the material and spiritual life of the masses. Along with that, proactively find and discover factors to foster, educate, orient and create resources; focus on improving the quality of party cell activities, perfecting mass organizations in villages and hamlets, especially weak associations and mass organizations to promote patriotic emulation movements.
With flexible solutions, suitable to the practical conditions of each locality and unit, since the beginning of the term, the Muong Cha District Party Committee has admitted more than 500 party members, achieving 97% of the resolution of the 2020 - 2025 term. This is one of the positive signals; at the same time, creating momentum and motivation for the district to soon complete all the goals and targets set by the Resolution of the 20th District Party Congress.
