The quality of this year's applications is assessed as relatively good and even in achievement categories such as patents, utility solutions, publications in domestic and foreign journals and conferences as well as practical application products. Most of the applications are carefully prepared, complete, clear and have a clear differentiation according to each field. The sharp increase in the number of quality applications from candidates working in countries with developed science and technology such as the US, France, Sweden, Korea... shows that the resources participating in the Award have good integration and response in terms of expertise as well as practical application experience.
In terms of education, this year's candidates have 61 PhDs, 17 masters and 5 bachelors. There are 26 candidates studying, working and researching abroad (accounting for 31.3%) in countries such as Japan, France, Singapore, Korea, Sweden, UK, China, Austria, USA, Australia. The youngest candidate was born in 2005 (20 years old) in the field of new materials technology. In addition, 22/83 applications are candidates who have participated in the Award in previous years; of which, 4 candidates have participated consecutively from 2023 - 2025 and 8 candidates have been in the top 20 in previous years. This affirms the prestigious position of the Award and the determination to pursue long-term research goals of young Vietnamese scientists.
In particular, the field of information technology, digital transformation and automation has 25 valid profiles, a sharp increase compared to 2024, diverse in both industry and working unit, with the quality of the profiles basically better than the previous year.
